All the trips below are fully inclusive so you get all your tackle, bait, food, drink, transport and guide for 100 euros a day per person - minimum 2 anglers - and if you book our accommodation transfer to and from Faro airport.
Rio Sado
The Rio Sado is a small river that runs into large deep lagoons with lilly pads and trees that hang over water. The river contains two species of Barbel, Wild carp, Common carp, fresh water Bass, Bleak and a fish the Portuguese call Golfinho. There have been reports of Barbel and Common carp over 20lb and on Float and Feeder tactics it is possible to catch a 100lb mixed bag in a day.
Rio Guadiana
The Rio Guadiana is a beautiful river that runs through Spain and into Portugal. It forms the largest man made lake in Europe and is home to the mighty Comizo Barbel that can grow to 55lb. There are European Barbel to over 20lb, Common carp to over 20lb and Wild carp to over 10lb. There are also plenty of small Carp and Barbel to be caught on feeder or float tactics, so large bags of fish are also possible here.
Aljustrel Lakes
There are three lakes here with the largest lake being around 160 acres. The biggest lake is absolutely stuffed with fish mainly carp to 10lb and two species of Barbel to around the same weight but there are a few big Common carp to be caught. Real big bags of fish are possible here so if you really want to make your arm ache this is the place.

Fly fishing for American Bass
This is something I tried a few years back on some of the resevoirs near where I live with some success all be it the fish I caught were small but I have seen some good size fish in some of the other waters I fish (so watch this space)
